who speak in the name of God and Country
and are handsomely compensated.

all the while pretending
he was not Abel’s killer.

the 99% don’t think;
they only recycle the propaganda line
of the 1%.

There is nothing new under the sun.
Everything I say has been said before
by giants beside whom I don’t even qualify
as a midget.

To my critics I ask:
Have you ever read a single line
by Baronian, Odian and Massikian?
Nothing further your Honor.

Viewing reality objectively
is as difficult as reading
Egyptian hieroglyphs.

ON BLUNDERS

The greater the blunder
the more irresistible the temptation
to blame it on others.
*
We have all heard
and sometimes even uttered the words
“It’s a mad world!”
*
Don’t blame human ignorance.
Blame our inability to read the mind of God.
*
Man is at his most creative
when explaining and justifying his blunders.
That’s my only explanation as to why
our dividers continue to divide us.

ON GUILT & INNOCENCE

the crimes committed
by the Catholic Church
and all organized religions in general.

And yet, have you ever heard
a bishop, imam or rabbi say,
“I am ashamed to be a member
of an organization with so many crimes
on its conscience”?

The truth is
the guilty of this world
feel more at home in it
than the innocent
(assuming of course they exist.)

Now you know why Erdogan is a statesman
and not a jailbird.
