There are victims and there are victimizers. Armenians have been victims, or so we like to say, repeat, and believe. But Armenians have also been victimizers. All you have to do to see Armenians as victimizers is to read a history of Armenian literature or the biography of an Armenian writer.#armenians

In his magisterial 12-volume STUDY OF HISTORY, Toynbee speaks of Urartu versus the Assyrian Empire, one of the mightiest empires of its time. Though repeatedly attacked by the formidable military machine of Assyria, Urartu stood its ground and never lost its independence. And why? I will let you answer that question.
