So you're half parskahye?

My cousin married a parskahye, so evertime her family comes over, and they're greeting us, and kissing everyone, I noticed they say," barreevv, hoknats chlnek, hamestsek" But why are they saying "hametsek" to us? They're the one who are the guests. They're "hamenaling" not us.

Does the word "hametsek" have a different meaning for you guys?
