What's the meaning of the suffixes "Van" and "An"? So many words have it.. YereVAN, SevAN, Lake VAN, NachividzyAN (I'm SURE I misspelled that one), aVAN. Also used in names such as VANik and VANushak. We see the sound "Van" pop up a lot... anyone know the historical/cultural/linguistic origins of this?
