OK... who's seen this xxxxing movie? Apparently it's heralded as one of the best Armenian films ever made... and if that's true, then please, shoot me now. Film teqnique wise, it sucks. Story wise, it sucks. Charcater development wise, it sucks. Sarkis Maroudian is one of the most incompetant filmmakers I've ever seen, I dare aay on the same level of Ed Wood. I guess I wouldn't be so pissed off if it weren't for the fact that everyone loves this film so much. I don't know whether I should be discouraged or inspired, since I know I can't do any worse than this. I've seen toy commercials with more depth than this crap. Sarky is a horrible storyteller and Manuel is one of the worst actors I've ever seen. Over all, this is one of those things that makes you temporarily wish you weren't Armenian. Pitiful, I was expecting something more.

this isn't a GLendale thing, this is a fgilm that's apparently been all over the world that Armenians "enjoy." No, for bad Glendale films made by Armenians check out "After Freedom" and "Tune of Nostalgia," the first is just plain old bad, the second is a self rightous piece of xxxx. Once again... I don't know whether to be discrouaged or inspired. There's no way I can be worse...

        We will. .................................................. .......

One of the most annoying parts of the movie is that it takes place IN Armenia, yet their speaking the western dialect. It's a small detail, but I'm just a nit picker like that. You think Armenians would get their own geographical facts right...

Supposably. The reason I ever watched it in the first place is because I found out my highschool video teacher (Alex Hakobian) was in it. I was dissapointed at how small role he had... (well, not really dissapointed...), but basically he plays an American neighbor (Ironic?) and says to the main character, Jirayir, "You Crazy Armenians." LOL, I just want to take that little bit of footage and show it in his film appreciation class at Grant high school since there are so many damn Armenians there. I think they'd get a kick out of it.
