Hi, are you the same "natolia" that sells stuff on ebay?

For the rest of you - a bit of advice - sell NOTHING connected to Turkey. If you have such items then hold onto them - they will increase hugely in value once Turkey joins the EU and its middle classes start to become interested in collecting in the same way as Europeans. Turkey now is a desert as far as art objects are concerned. Everything there was once considered worthless by the Turks and was sold or destroyed or thrown away years ago. I only wish I had the money to spare to scour the fleamarkets of Europe picking up all the stuff the Turks sold to Europeans during the 19th century.

why the hell would we have anything connected to turkey in the first place. in the second place, name one thing that turks made that any european would ever waste his time on. maybe some torture devices? an ancient fez? a sweat stained turban perhaps? haha. other than that im at a loss as to what you could be talking about. you must be talking about some other turkey that in some alternate reality was actually civilized and had a culture that might have left behind some art?

You were a cretin several months ago, and it seems you still are.

Also, everything I said about Turkey is also applicable to Armenia - except that there, what little survived the wars and massacres was mostly disposed of during the soviet period when possesing anything that could be construed to be nationalistic was enough to have you sent to the nearest gulag, and showing any appreciation for things like art and culture was equally dangerous. Of course, for spotty youths like TigranJamharian, not showing an appreciation of art and culture is a lifestyle statement.

The only artifacts that will not increase in value in the comming years are old Armenian books - now that Istanbul's Armenian community is nearing extinction, all the old books that were in its possession in the 19th century (when there were hundreds and thousands of Armenians in constantinople) are starting to be disposed of. And there will be far too many for the market to absorb.
