You NOTICE things getting better because you start giving a sh*t. It didn't get better because you care...you're not that influential yet.
lol, I know. People are misunderstanding me an dthinking I'm some self centered guy...
what I'm saying is, was there like some mass re-awakening, like I wasn't the only one, and because of this things are getting better? I dunno. Was just sharing what I see.
even though some could argue that that's not the case and there's vast immigration of Armenians to the US right now from Lebanon and Syria and Kuwait.
I am not arguing that all the Armenians from Lebanon, Syria and Kuwait, have emigrated to the U.S already, and that there is no more left in those countries.
My point was that majority of the Western Armenians who do what jinx mentioned, have been here longer than most Hayastanci’s. Whose most recent influx (on a grand scale) was in the late 80’s.
lets just say for the sake of argument your assumption is valid.
isn't it supposed to have the opposite effect. aren't 1st generation people supposed to be more active in the sense that the longer you've been outside of Armenia the more "assimilated" you are... or the more exposed you are to different cultures?
No
… and my point was not about assimilation, my point was about Armenian youth, and being able to make a difference.
I'm don't mean this in a bad way, but can I ask how you contribute yourself?
just curious.
Whether I contribute or not is completely irrelevant, as I am not the one complaining about other Armenians not contributing.
