      Yes that is the same holiday I was speaking of. It was in honor of the god Saturn.

      And HyeJinx, they call Jan. 6 Tznoont, Christmas.

          Are you sure? Perhaps in certaint Armenian groups, but I have never heard "giroshnek" and have always called it Dznoont.

            Yep, always called it giroshnek. I'll ask my mother later why we call it that.
