Saw this play a few weeks ago here in NYC ... it was amazing. Still not too late for a weekend trip to the city to see this ...

I saw it over six years ago and don't remember it very well.

I read the play but I never saw it. Though I'd really want to see it if they ever come to LA.

The plot must have been forgettable, because I only remember the embarassingly amateurish dialogue and acting and production values - and some puzzlement as to how one of the Armenian characters ended up having a southern Yankee accent (the production I saw was in London).

I remember some mail delivery orphan boy that the couple takes in, and the main character's breakdown toward the end. That's about it.

May be too subtle for some! LOL!

PS. There seem to be another thread about the subject. Maybe they should be merged???
What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

At the time, I later talked about this play with a particularly celebrated theatre director who happens also to be Armenian, and who saw it a few days before I did. He said that watching it had left him cringing with embarassment, since the abismal production was both an insult to his nationality, his intellect, and his profession.
