Names for Armenian Cats

ok I think I misunderstood your comment. You're saying giving cutesy names in Armenian is less preferred than giving Armenian human names? I never know if you're being sarcastic and goofy (the way I get a lot) or you're being serious? If serious, I'd agree with Dants that I'd feel strange saying to my cat "Armine, ete mi ankem el shres ankoghnis vren, shan tsets ktam". Crap, now you all think I'm a loony who talks to his cats.

Most ALL cat people talk to their cats. In fact, the last cat I had tried desperately to talk back, he used to make these little noises and I knew he was trying to answer me when I talked to him.

For the poster that had a problem with using "human" names, even though we know that most cats are pretty close to human:

How about Sylvester, Morris, Felix and Garfield?? I'm sure there are a lot more examples.

My cat's meow at me when I talk to them. It's weird sometimes one of them does what I say. Either they want me to shut up or they're trying to say something.

I like Sylvester =) I was gonna name my cat that but I named something else that.

I was serious. I would gladly provide any further clarifications; but If you care to understand what I mean then please
1- Do something with this fixation on the human vs pet/object name. Just for a short while! Thanks!
2- Read again my previous posts with an open mind and focus on what is said, instead of whether you agree or not. They are not that long. I'm not asking you to agree, simply hear me. Read them with a different focus!. Thanks.
In a nutshell, it's about replacing a loss with symbols! Maybe your Armenian Identity did not bleed enough to relate to what I'm trying to say!

Also, I agree with Nemesis; cats can be considered gracious and respectable creatures or beings! I know humans who are far less "honorable" and respectable than cats! In any case, that is not relevant to the point I was trying to make in my previous posts.
