In my school, every October they organize a cultural fair, where all the internationals set up tables with posters, pictures, art pieces, even food from their home countries. I've been setting up an Armenian table each time. I don't have much, but I print beautiful color pictures from the net, have couple of miniature khachkars (made of wood), letters discussing the history and of course the Genocide (gotta educated these yankees). Last time, the Armenian embassy sent some stuff. Most of it was complete shyte like AIM (Armenian International Magazine) which is a magazine for Armenians or people who are interested in Armenia, not for people who're hearing about it for the first time. They also sent 3 copies of a book outlining the Germans' role in the Genocide. Interesting book, but not for a freaking fair, where people stop by for couple of minutes max. Instead of sending an art journal or a poster or some art pieces, they send totally irrelevant stuff.
So I had to create something myself. Here are the Microsoft Publisher files for a three part poster I designed. Had to print them on letter size paper and cut and paste the parts to make the final poster. It's too expensive to pay for an actual print of the whole poster on one glossy paper.

The international office hired this amazing professional dancer, who specializes in middle eastern and some asian dances. She actually danced the Groong, which totally floored me. She said Armenian dances and music is her favorite among all the types of dances she knows and does. That was very cool to see.
