Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I've seen an interview with a Russian skin head on Armenian TV, channel 1, the guy was clearly PRO-HITLER.

Anyway, if given the oppertunity to do so, you think it'd be just to "get rid of" Armenia's Kurdish population in it's entirety, IF they became a national threat to "preserving our own kind."

          On a lighter note:

Russia favored Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest

Russia and Armenia exchanged a maximum score of 12 points at the Eurovision-2006 Song Contest. Notably, the CIS countries that participated in the contest showed a measure of solidarity. Ukraine generously granted Russia 12 points, whereas Russians scored a Ukrainian singer 10 (second highest point). Byelorussia scored Armenia 8 (third highest), Ukraine 10, and Russia the maximum 12 points. It is noteworthy that Armenian singer received 10 points from Turkish pop music fans.

The 52nd Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Finland in 2007, The Finnish Lordi group won the 51st contest that ended last night in Athens. Their song “Hard Rock Hallelujah” received the total score of 297 points. Dima Bilan from Russia was voted second best by receiving 243 points. The Khara Mata Khari group from Bosnia that presented the “Leila” song ranked third. Ukraine was the seventh with 145 points. Armenian pop-artist André ranked eighth.

24 countries took part in the contest. Out of that total, 14 had been included automatically and 10 were rated by the TV audience during the semifinal vote. The contest final was staged in an indoor stadium in Athens. 14, 000 people were watching the show inside the stadium, and millions around the world saw it live on TV.

Re: Are russians racist to Armenians?

It's true that Russia is one of Armenia's closest allies, but it doesn't necessarily mean we should look at them as a true "freind." Whatever they're doing is for their own self interests, period. Plus, for certain given reasons, they'll never or atleast anytime soon want any form of stability in the Caucasus.

Armenia is just another pawn in Russia's little chess game. You can't give countries people characterists. Nations don't have morals, bottom line. If Russia is Armenia's freind today, there is no telling who's freind they will be tomorrow.

I agree though, if Armenia remains loyal, Russia should still support us, but like I said, they can't be trusted.

As for Russians being racist, I think that applies mostly to Russian skinheads. The average Russia might not appreciate the presence of an ethnic Armenian population, but they won't take action to insult, or assualt anyone like some skinheads would

i agree with you Heavy G, the Russians shouldnt be trusted as much! and plus while the Armenian genocide started the Russians were near the Armenians.the armenians were fighting the turks led by the general Andranek the Great. the Russians waited until the fight ended then they would go through and conquer. they were in the north-west (before comunisom started)
              to my point of view

This has nothing to do with "trust," its simply politics. For the foreseeable future, Russia, Armenia and Iran will have close geo-political, military and economic relations.

And this is as stupid a comment anyone can make regarding the political situation in the region at the time. Where did you get your "point of view," university of Ankara or planet Mars?

I just got off the phone with The Russians. As far as I could tell The Russians are "cool" with all of us except Nersez. The Russians sympathise and apologise.
