address in Yerevan
Hello someone told me about a flat to rent in YEGHBAYRUTYAN street near the YEREVANYAN lake Is it a safe area ? How far is it from the center? Walking distance ? by underground how long does it takes to reach the center of the town? Thanks for your answers

I don't know where exactly the Yeghbayrutyan street is. but I can tell you the fallwing. If it is near Yerevanyan lake, forget about walking... though minibus (marshrutka- main public transportation in yerevan) can take you to Republic Square (hraparak) in about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Generally you can consider to be safe any place in yerevan, just avoid Shilachi, Sari Tagh.. Those places are more or less safe for locals, but for some reasons not so safe for those who looke artasahmanci.

P.S Near Yerevanyan Lake there is no underground.
There is one line of the subway (well two, but you can safely say one) which goes in about 25 minutes from one end to another. -

Try to get something on Abovyan, might be a bit pricey though.Comment
