Hey everyone
I wonder if you guys have ever heard of this organization called CYMA here in North America (specifically Canada)... well it's an organization celebrating its 14th year and what the group and participants do is go to Armenia for a month in the summer (July - August) and aid in the construction and renovation of churches, schools and other places in small villages.
This year, I am on of the 40 participants who is going to be particapting, and the project this year is in the village of Gai, Armenia for a Church renovation. Each participant has to raise a minimum of $500.00 which will go SOLELY towards the materials and anything related to aiding the construction of the church (cement, bricks, sand, candles, etc, etc.)
I have been trying to come up with some ideas as to how I can raise some money, so I thought maybe you all might have some brilliant ideas! I've been coming up with ideas such as:
Finding individual sponsers
Bake sale
Raffle sale
I was just wondering if you had anything to add that may become helpful!
If anyone would like any information on CYMA or the project itself, please let me know and I'll do the best that I can to fill you in
