Would anyone be kind enough to help me with a couple of problems regarding the WA language. I am currently learning Armenian mainly from books, and so I have some questions regarding pronunciation. It seems that the combination of letters "ու" is sometimes pronounced as oo and sometimes pronounced as @v (I am using "@" to represent the sound of the Armenian letter "ը"). Consequently there are certain words which I am unsure how to pronounce. For example:
վաղուընէ (with tomorrow): Is this pronounced vaghoo@ne or vagh@v@ne?
Աստուծոյ (of/to God): Is this pronounced asdoodzo or asd@vdzo?
Would I be right in thinking that when "ու" is followed by a vowel it is always pronounced as @v rather than oo?
Also, is ազնիւ (kind) pronounced as aznioo or azniv?
And finally (for now, anyway!), are եմ, ես, է, ենք, էք, են (I am, you are, he/she/it is, we are, you are, they are) pronounced as: yem, yes, ye, yenk, yek, yen or as em, es, e, enk, ek, en.
Շնորհակալ եմ to anyone who can help me. Շատ ազնիւ էք:
