This picture was posted in another picture thread. It was a link to masis.am. I had to have it. I contacted the photographer, who graciously let me have the desktop background size version of it. I've had a stranger who saw it on my computer in a coffeehouse come up to me and ask me about it.

Lenakan is much improved over the years you had to see the domiks that were allaround the city and now their all gone within time the city will be build again and the city will have it's beauty back

Gyumri is this not the Armenian name? When my mother lived there it was Alexandropol then under Communism Lenakan, it is now Gyumri.

I remembered Alaverdi after seeing those pictures. It was so beautiful. a city in the mountains.
