  • Ատամնահաթիկ (An Armenian tradition)

    It is an Armenian tradition to host a big party when a baby's first tooth comes out. The party however as its rituals, like putting objects on the table for the baby to choose (and each object represents a future career). Today is my brother's Ատամնահաթիկ that is why I posted this.

    I hope he picks the digital video recorder.
    Between childhood, boyhood,
    adolescence
    & manhood (maturity) there
    should be sharp lines drawn w/
    Tests, deaths, feats, rites
    stories, songs & judgements

      My nephew chose a bottle of pills.... so he will either be a pharmacist or a junkie.
