I keep reading about David Beg, who helped Armenians in the rebellion of Karabagh in the 18th century. But there doesn't seem to be much information on him on the net. I did however, find out that someone named "Raffi" wrote a book about him. Can anyone tell me where I can find the book or any other information, I'd like to learn more about him, and his adventures in Armenia.

 Thanks Re,
I should have thought of Narek, I just bought a lot of materials from them last month. St. Vartan bookstore probably has it too now that I think about it, but all I had was the authors first name. I appreciate your help!

From the little I know of David Beg though, it seems he's another epic (braveheartesq) tale that should be made into a film, and hasn't yet...

Forgot all about this thread. I actually bought the book last May when I was in Yerevan. I never pass up the opportunity to brag a little on the booksellers at Vernisazh Market. I found the book by Raffi in great condition near the back of the market. Now I just need to find time to read it... Thanks for the help... Thanks for the help...
