Well you can think what you like freaky, but I have seen the good that has been done by Armenia Fund, and I agree with Paron Sassounyan's ideas. If you have something personal against Harut that is different, but I can not see how any self respecting Armenian could think Harut's ideas are worthless (not saying you do).

I agree with everything except the first part. Harout is a good man who really does work for the Armenian Cause, while ara is just another fake Armenian who happened to have a last name ending in "ian". Plus, it is not like ara has now changed and no longer has an ego, he still says a lot of bs IMHO.

Harut has a major conflict of interest that prevents him from truly advocating Armenian-American causes.

As for the California Courier, what is the actual circulation of this newspaper, how many subscribers does this 'publication' have? Ordinarily, for a periodical like a newspaper to be considered a publication, it has to publish its circulation.

If he 'publishes' a newspaper, then every person that blogs on their own independent website has a 'publication'. Firing of an e-mail to Groong entitled "California Courier" does not a published newspaper make.

And, with regard to Armenian American fundraising organizations like Armenia Fund, there does not appear to be any transparency or accountability for the dispersal of donor funds for projects. From their website, it does not even look like they published an annual report for 2006. Its laughable.

In the end, IMHO, lots of show, little go.

I did. They both reduced themselves to name calling in the end. Rather sad but understandable also.

But, I blame Harut. Ara was somewhat vulnerable back then as his ego appeared bruised. Rather than take the high ground Harut chose to lower himself and struck a wounded animal.

One of Harut's recent article claimed that we've come a long way and took liberty of that women's rights mantra "You've come a long way baby" which actually is very condescending in present day parlance and in his other belated article slamming Elie Weasel he proves that we've come so far that a hypocritical, lying, nonetheless Nobel peace prize winning, non-Armenian can erroneously define what Armenians are fighting for in the mainstream media without much true resistance from our so-called leaders.

Look Mr. Weasel is a hypocritical liar when he says you can call the tragedy a genocide on the argument of semantics that the word did not exist yet, because under his own logic there was no Holocaust because that term is regularly attributed to him and he didn't purportedly coin it when it happened.
