Armenian genocide

EDITOR: In the state briefs section of The Press Democrat on April 25, the article "March marks Armenian killings" is a denial of the Armenian genocide as a fact.

The state of California -- with its governor, two senators and all representatives -- commemorates April 24 as Armenian Genocide day every year. Most American states, Canada, South American countries, most of Europe, Russia, and most of the world do the same.

Only Turkey denies the Armenian genocide. It is shameful for The Press Democrat to publish this article questioning this historical fact. By this, you insult Armenian-Americans and help Turkish denialists.
