I don't know what textbooks you've read, but the ones I did hardly mentioned anything about Turks except when talking about the genocide and even then, they didn't spread hatred towards the Turkish population in Turkey today. And to be honest, our Armenian schools/textbooks don't even teach much about the genocide. I did my own research on it, most of my friends don't know half the things I know on this subject. What is this "hatred towards turks in Armenian textbooks/sites" that you're talking about? The truth is, in our daily lives, at schools, etc. we hardly read, talk or hear about Turks!

My Armenian history textbook is A Concise History of the Armenian People by George A. Bournoutian. It discusses much of Armenia's relationship with Turkey in the 20th century including, but not limited to, the Armenian Genocide, several treaties, and military invasions. Still, the history of its relationship with Turkey doesn't really compare with Armenia's history as a member of the Soviet Union.
And it's not hateful in any sense.

Unlike the most Turks i'm not going to say that there doesn't exist one.Originally posted by ASALABtw, what are your thoughts about the Armenian genocide?
The Armenian genocide is a very big crime of Turkey and some Kurds also helped their 'Turkish muslimbrothers' but when the genocide was over we were betrayed by them. And they say ridicilous thing like Kurds dont exist and Kurds are Turks. I'm all the time asking how can such a large population has so good been brainwashed.
Sory if my english is no good.

I have Kurdish neighbours and they are very nice people. They also admit that Kurds took part in the Armenian genocide because they were promised our lands but afterwards the turks betrayed them.Unlike the most Turks i'm not going to say that there doesn't exist one.

I appreciate that unlike the turks the Kurdish people atleast admit to their crimes. I have read about the suppression of the Kurds in turkey and its terrible. I wish you all the best in your struggle.
ps: My English isn't too good either. I'm from Holland.
