As I am one, who always feels sad when crushing even an ant by mistake, how I can vote ‘’yes’’. So, I voted ‘’no’’. Whatever its reason, a genocide or killing (excluding self-defence) cannot be advocated. I do not suppose that there is one (me too) among us who knows what means the real killing but I am sure it is unlike a movie. For AG or Asala, voting ‘’yes’’ means approval of crime. Whatever the reason, I refuse and don’t approve any kind of killing.

          Reincarnated,

You know what all religions advice -''do not kill''-. But though this is so, we see that some religious people (I respect religious people) have more tendency to the killing. How do you explain this, Reco?

And you accept that Asala's actions were partially solution. Do you want them go on?

          One more question:

Unless AG happened, during the Greek occupation, Ankara would be pressed by Greek Army in the West and by Armenians in the East. Do you think Armenian Genocide saved Turks from more trouble?

WW-I and WW-II caused by not reigous people. That religous people tend to kill more is just a streotype.

Stereotype? I don't think so. Hitler was enough religious to think that his duty was sent by the God. Eventually, 60 million people died.

Any kind of war effort has to use every element that it can drive people determined, bold since power that wages war will have to send many people to their deaths who must be willing to die in a battle. In such a case, religion or nationalism are the elements of the effort not the reverse. Thus, be it in the name of religion or nationalism, you can see great crimes of humanity to be commited. The main factor is the will of the elite people (General, President) which defines the limits of the violence that will be commited through war effort.
There are times a (claim to be) religious person may kill a child. There are times a nationalist will kill a child of his own nationality claiming it is for the better good of the people and state. Both are the same. In war, emotions, idelogoies of people are instruments to wield your manpower according to your will.
