    Uzbekistan has officially quit GUUAM

President Islam Karimov has denounced the last document connecting Uzbekistan with GUUAM (regional organization for cooperation enlisting Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Moldavia) – the Convention on Mutual Aid in Consular Issues, after which Uzbekistan officially quits the organization, a REGNUM correspondent is told the presidential press office on March 10.

“The Convention of the member-countries of GUUAM on mutual aid on consular issues (Yalta, June 7, 2001) is to be denounced,” says the document signed by Karimov.
Earlier, the decision was passed by the Legislative Chamber (January 27) and approved by the Senate (February 25).

GUUAM flew like a lead zeppelin. I believe they also kicked out US forces. Looks like they are drawing close to Russia.
