They are allowed. According to the law, they have the freedom to assembly so long as that it passes the "direct incitement test", in that the protest may not immediately incite violence or disorder. Now, while no one would consider any of these protests "peaceful", they didn't result directly in anyone's death, so by law their speech is protected.

Rude, you can't blame HayerMiacek for feeling that way.. I mean looking at those pics makes me wanna throw stuff at them too.. not that I would, but you know what I mean... it makes me very very angry.. AND dissapointed.

My great grandmother's two baby brothers were killed in the genocide by Turksih soldiers along with the rest of her family.. they were from Mush. She told me everything that happened to her.. everything she saw with her own eyes. She was an old lady.. I don't think she cared much about "politics" or "land returns" at that age. To see these people holding signs saying it was the other way around makes me angry!! very angry.

These demonstrations are actually more helpful than harmful. They keep the Genocide in the public eye. The truth is with us, and we have just enough political and moral clout to at least get the truth disseminated to the public. Thus, I see these as the last gasps of a dying animal.
