That's great. I know Armenians who speak fluent Turkish, too.

So rather than saying Mr. Ahmadinejad is an Azeri Turk because you think he is, I will ask you to provide a proper news article or source that confirms Mr. Ahmadinejad to be an Azeri Turk.

What is that supposed to mean? Similar to Armenians consider themselves to be Turks!!!!!! All citizens of Iran are Iranian. Iranian is not a race.
Believe it or not i live in iran, not important if it sounds to u so or not.nobody has objected to your slide show cos not so many people have visited that(and i saw the link here) and maybe it's not worth indicating it(it changes nothing). I said no one can tell apart persian from azeri and i insist on that, but i said those actors and actresses that u represented azeris, they r not(it's not because i can tell them apart from persians it's because they r so famous in iran and i've read so many interviews of them, hope u got it), it seems u have no info about iran and u tried to choose the pictures just like this, randomly(apparently using the beautiful actors and actresses as azeris but sorry i caught u red handed, i can send u some genuine photos of those azeris about whom i'm sure, again according to their sayings). And finally if u were in iran u could've understood what i'm talking about. By talking to many azeris i've discoverd the tendency to be called persian or arian is growing among the young generation(my friends and so many others i know are the living proof). Who said iranian is a race? It seems u have a genius for complicating the obvious facts ! If necessary i'd give some more info on those people who u tried to turikishize them!

On the contrary, many people in iran more or less can speak and understand it but there is a large number of nonazeris who speak that fluently(with no accent) . As an iranian residant i've never seen Ahmadinejid talking azeri! Is he similar to that blue-eyed guy(the actor ) represented as an azeri?!!!!!!!!!

Thousands of people have visited my blog. No Azeri or Persian have objected to those pictures:
How Persians are presented in Hollywood films. Oliver Stone - Alexander

Azeris Calling themselves "Aryan" or "Persian" does not make it true. Azeris can call themselves "Swedish" too. It does not change anything. Also you said Azeris consider themselves "Iranian". Iranian just means citizens of Iran. I do not know what you mean by that. Azeris are Iranian turks. If you mean that Azeri Turks have Persian, Kurdish, or Baloch culture, I have say sorry no. Azeri Turks have Azeri Turk culture.

Azeri phenotypes are consistent. The actor pictures fit in with the rest of Azeris. You can see here how their phenotype look like:

          Persian

          Azeri Turk

No. You wrong. Very few non-azeris can speak Azeri turk language. You are mixed up because Tehran is %70 Azeri Turk and some of them call themselves "Persian". So those "Persians" can speak Azeri Turk lanaguage.

Apparently this issue has to do with the Armenian Genocide, because???????
General Antranik (1865-1927): “I am not a nationalist. I recognize only one nation, the nation of the oppressed.”

I can't believe we're entertaining someone who advertises their blog, which is based on recognizing a person's race on circumstantial evidence and circular reasoning.

An Azeri Turk extremist taking over in Tehran can be a security threat to Armenia.

I was actually discussing the politics in Iran. You asked questions about Mr. Ahmadinejad.

                      Azeris are really Turks.

The Following article shows that claims about Azeri Turks are not Turks was propoganda invented by Stalin in the Soviet Union in 1930's. This was copied by some Iranian Azeris and promoted in Iran since then. All claims about Azeris were lies. Azeris are Turks who originate from Oghuz Turks.

                      Fear of Pan-Turkism
You won't find anything about the Turkic roots of Azerbaijani people in Soviet history books. Instead, they say that the Turks conquered Azerbaijan in the 11th-13th centuries, and that the native residents of Azerbaijan gradually switched from their ancient languages of Caucasian and Persian origin to a Turkic language. Azerbaijanis supposedly kept their blood pure and did not become Turks. Let's open "History of Azerbaijan" again (vol. 1, p.172): "The same things took place in Central Asia, where the native languages of Kharezm, Sogdiana, Baktriana and Parthea were replaced by Turkic languages.Similarly in Azerbaijan the native languages were substituted with Turkic."

Why were Soviet historians so biased against Turks? Stalin believed that Turkey would try to unite all of the Turkic nations of the world under its leadership. More than half of the territory of the USSR, including Siberia, was inhabited by various Turkic peoples, so the Soviet leaders considered Pan-Turkism to be a major threat. To prevent the Turkic peoples from uniting, Stalin ordered historians to prove that they were completely unrelated to one another, that all of them had different blood, religions and traditions. According to Soviet scholars, those peoples who spoke Turkic languages (for instance, Azerbaijanis, Uzbeks, Turkmen, and Turks) were Turkic speaking (Turkophone), but not of Turkic blood.

Beginning in 1937, the huge machine of Soviet propaganda, including history books, novels, newspapers, radio, schools and universities, spread these ideas. To be arrested as a Pan-Turkist, one had only to say "Turkic people" instead of "Azerbaijani people". Even the seventh-century Azerbaijani epic "Dada Gorgud" (The Book of my Father Gorgud) was forbidden because it was branded as Pan-Turkist literature.
