  • Grandmothers experience

    Hi,

I am 32 now, but when I was 11 years old I interviewed my grandmother and tape recorded her horrific experience with the genocide. I have kept this tape for years. It's too painful to listen to. Anyway, I would like to send a copy of it to have it in a historical archive for the Armenian Genocide. Or have it used to help the Armenian cause. Does anyone know where the best place to send it is?

    Welcome to the forum,

I would think that the Armenian National Institute (ANI) would be interested in listening to it. As you may know, they are preparing materials to be used in the National Armenian Genocide Museum in Washington D.C. which will open in the next few years. I recommend you send the tape to:

    Armenian National Institute
    Attn: Rouben Adalian
    1140 19th St. NW
    Suite 600
    Washington, DC, USA 20036

You may also want to submit it to the relevant individuals at this site:
