  • Who was the congressman?

    Hi,

    During the time when Congress was discussing recognizing the Armenian genocide there was a congressman who was quoted over and over and saying that doing such a thing would not solve anything, and it wouldn't change history.

    Does anyone recall who this was? He was an older white man with glasses (if memory serves).

    The below article makes me happy, but mad at the same time:

    Senate apologizes to Native Americans for historical mistreatment.
