If we recognize...
In Turkish side main question is will it be an end or begining if we accept. As far as I understand from the opinions expressed here Armenian people will not be more peaceful then today if Turkey officialy accepts it as a genocide. Some even mention to declare war on Turkey with support of Russians. Is this mind set as old fashioned as of those policemen taking pictures with murderer of Hrant as if he was a hero?
We should get rid of these discussions. What ever happened is over. We should not let our past to burden us to develop our future. There is no doubt that if we can manage to start a dialog for cooperation in our region both countries will benefit from the results.Comment

Will Armenians want their lost lands back, most I know of only want the areas they currently number a majority and equal rights for areas they number a majority. Very few Armenians support ASALA, but alot support Artsakh, the reason being that Artsakh is historically and ethnically Armenian and were forced to be Azerbaijani citizens by Stalin. Tongue is right. We need to concentrate on other important objectives before we can reclaim our land per Wilson treaty or just historic Armenia. It is not a question of 70 M Turks Vs 5M Armos even though history has shown we can match them more than 2 to 1, it will not work, we will be slaughtered. We also cannot and must not rely on or trust anybody but ourselves. We can make them help us to some degree but that is it. We must become more united around the world (That is our biggest challenge) and work towards the common good of Armenian sovereignty. Look at the Jews. We must enrich our country and build a formidable military force at the edge of technology. We must fight hard against the Turkish lobby in every country that they are active so the real Turkey will be exposed. Our officials must become more involved and active in western countries and Middle East. We must stop this Turkish blackmail of powerful governments against us (USA, Israel…) diplomatically, economically, with incentives when able. We must build our economy, education, and infrastructure and keep our next generation focused on our missions. We will prevail but we cannot realistically achieve the main objective just now, but we can have small victories. It is important that we do this strategically, tediously with clear objectives and plans executed in proper order. We can carefully run proxy wars against them if we desire (Kurds?). This recognition of AG could tear them apart socially; let’s keep it up as much as I don’t care what they recognize it will however be a big blow to them. Turkey could crumble from within very easily (Look what the headscarf issue did in Turkey). We need strong leaders with strong resolves. We must lay the seeds for the future generations to carry this torch. It could take many decades but it is very much possible.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.
