Sad news. In a bus crash in eastern Turkey on 8th September, at least 16 Iranian-Armenians from Tabriz, Urmia, Tehran, and Isfahan were killed and many more injured. They were returning to Iran after spending a week visiting Armenian sites in Eastern Turkey.
They have done these trips yearly or almost yearly for the past decade or so, and sometimes I've travelled with them, and though I don't think I know any of the dead there are no names released of the injured.
