    From the second book:

"My dear boy," said Lockhart, straightening up and frowning at Harry. "Do use your common sense. My books wouldn't have sold half as well if people didn't think I'd done all those things. No one wants to read about some ugly old Armenian warlock, even if he did save a village from werewolves. He'd look dreadful on the front cover. No dress sense at all. And the witch who banished the Bandon Banshee had a harelip. I mean, come on -"

Bell I wasn't aware of that, I never even knew she supported the BNP, can you point me to an article?
BNP? That would be forgivable. They are harmeless. I'm talking about the Labour Party - that is not forgivable.

          Aww

*sound of hand slapping against forehead

Meant to type Labour party, sorry bro/girl (dunno whether you're a dude or a chick, don't wanna call you dude if you'r a girl and vice versa).

I know the BNP is harmless, insidious in my oppinnion, but never the less harmless.

Do you have an article about it bro/chick?

Guys, I don't know what she's doing and what she's not but one thing wrong I see in Armenians and many other people is that they really don't have something called appreciation. Rowling has helped so many people and not looking at that is almost doing what the Turks do sometimes. They ask recognition of smaller problems but don't recognize the Genocide. We all have good and bad sides but forgetting all that she's done is simply awful and makes me feel sick. Appreciate, no matter what happens. Look for the good, not the bad because that's the easiest thing to find. This is a quality, a virtue, not just something you can simply do. Appreciation is a big step forward .

I agree there, she invested her money in the Labour Party because she didn't want Conservatives to get in power (although as far as I can see they are more or less the same thing), its great she is helping Armenians.

I'm not however fond about her comment, whether this is her own prejudice or because she just tried Lockhart to look like an excrement hole, I am not sure

I doubt she meant anything by it, in fact its in context, any warlock is ugly/old.

I think it's the other way around. Harry Potter may seem like a childish remake of witches and wizards but I think what it does is make them look more realistic and believeable then childish, that word can't even be used. Half the people that say it's bad haven't even opened the book for crying out loud or have only seen the first movie so don't believe everything you hear. It's written magnificently even if it is/was a childish book, which it isn't. I'd like to know what those readers who mock Rowling read at all.
