I have some unfortunate information which I hope won't put anyone down. The intellectuals that started the Apology have been caught and beaten severely. I wish them all the best and thank them for trying to help.

This was inevitable. But by beating up its intellectuals it will only make people want to apologize more because if a Government cannot allow freedom of speech to its best and brightest then its intellectuals may leave Turkey (in fact a lot of them already have).

don't you think the government wants to hide what they're doing (at least hiding them from the Turks) since catching and beating them up is not the right thing to do.

Not that it surprises me too much but it get's me thinking somewhat. I think you'll see it soon. The video seems to have been illegally taken.

I think their behind the scene's right now (the Turkish gov.) dealing with these people. Once they come to a verdict, they'll let Turkey know about it. Why do they have to asy anything. The last thing they want is an uproar from the Turkish people which is very close to happening?

Sorry my man, I only got a short glimpse of that video. I came in a bit late. It was close to ending. Unfortunately, it wasn't shown again. I think we can start searching for videos, especially in Turkish. This video must have been illegal.

I agree but like I said, I've seen the videos on TV, my family was the one that quickly called me in to watch in the first place, and I think something's fishy here. It's not just me that's seen it and I don't have a reason to lie about this.

Seeing false news doesn't make it true news, it just means you saw false news. Where it came from or why it was made, I don't know - I'm just saying that nothing has happened which is similar to the news report you said you saw.
