  • Another Denial site

I was searching Google and what do I discover? An innocent looking Armenian genocide discussion site. But there is evil inside, all the articles discussing the genocide are from pro-Turkish government sources or blatantly racist in content.

Also this is what the site claims happend (in the usual genocide denial style):

    What Actually Happened in 1915?

    Table of Contents

    1. See the Following

In 1915, Armenians incited by Huncak and Dashnaktzutyun rebel parties (Armenian Revolutionary Federation), financed by the Tsarist Russia, rebelled against the dying Ottoman Empire.

Sometimes Armenian rebels, volunteer units, or locals engaged in ethnic cleansing of the overwhelmingly local Muslim population, sometimes these Muslim populations retaliated ferociously and sometimes preemptive massacres were conducted, and such horrific actions are inexcusable. The CUP government, in a desperate attempt to protect their land ordered that Armenians in suspected rebelling provinces be removed to Syria provinces and Mosul, Iraq, the provinces are mentioned specifically in the archival documents. However, there was no evidence of intentions of the CUP government or encouragement by any of their high ranking officials to exterminate Armenians, hence why it is not genocide.
Blah, Blah, Blah. Heard that all before.

    Have a look yourself.

Read all the front page articles, they are all against recognition of the genocide.

    Re: Another Denial site

I did the honor of sending them an email.

Carry on like the evil Turkish Islamic Nationalist you really are.

You hate democracy, you hate free speech. But you know what? Its coming and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

You can take away the rights of minorities, you can destroy peoples lives but we will fight you.

All across the world 100s of millions of people are seeing through your lies, in the United States, in Russia, and now even in Turkey.

And you know what, it makes you afraid, and that is good because I want you to be afraid. Very afraid.

    We shall defeat your hate.

    We shall defeat your lies.

    We shall defeat your dictatorship.

    There shall be democracy.

There shall be freedom of Speech.

    There shall be tolerance.

    There shall be respect.

    There shall be no discrimination.

There shall be a free Turkey.

    There was an Armenian Genocide.

There will be a new Turkey.

    One without you!

    Democracy is coming.

    Recognition is at hand.

    You are finished!
I liked sending this. Since the people who run the site are probably all racist gits in pay of the Turkish government anyway.

      Re: Another Denial site

Emails like that mean absolutely nothing to them. I'm sure they get boatloads of hate mail. I'd bring up all the obvious flaws in their argument instead. For example......can you name a single instance where a minority was in a position to "ethnically cleanse" an "overwhelming (majority) population"? The people that do the ethnic cleansing are the ones that are the majority, and want to rid themselves of the "pesky minorities", not the other way around. The minorities can only hope to survive, not hope to take out a majority, especially a majority that is quite discriminatory towards them to begin with. That would be the equivalent to African Americans "ethnically cleansing" the predominantly white nation of America prior to the civil rights movement.

Let's not forget that they ignore every primary source in existence. Or they dismiss them all as propaganda.

But when they can find one that suits their denial, then it is acceptable.

I read the first two of their "History" articles. Check their sources. Every citation leads to a single book by Justin McCarthy. It's almost as funny as what their idea of what a "debate" is.

They will never be convinced, that is why you have to show them they are alone and that they won't be able to halt progress forever.

Their debate is very stupid, then so is the debate of denying the Nazi Holocaust.

              Ah Peter,
You have just discovered the man that is Ergun Kirlikovali, he and his buddy Johnathan Wilson run the site, I posted there months ago and my comments were not there, even though I was polite and adhered to his rules.

The man is the biggest anti Armenian on the web save for Murad, but no one believes him. This dude is powerful and has lobbied for anti Armenian policies

No surprises there. But his forum is crap. I looked.

Maybe it is because he is so filled with hatred even genocide deniers can't stand the likes of him.

                Makes this even more worthwhile.

Melodramatic if not a bit amaturish. But I liked it.

I used a false name and email. So he couldn't send me his hate mail.
