Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • Adolf Hitlerin Ataturk Hayranligi

Adolf Hitler'in Atatürk Hayranlığı Adolf Hitler’in hayranlık beslediği devlet adamı ve askerler arasında Mustafa Kemal Atatürk de vardı. Hitler,...

Among the admiration of Adolf Hitler for the statesmen and soldiers, there was Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Hitler, with his gift of an armored Mercedes to Ataturk, has repeatedly shown that admiration. By tearing the Treaty of Versailles, speaking of the Treaty of Sevres, the sentence "What did ...Ataturk 10 years ago, we are able to do that now" is famous. However, what Hitler, in his book, little known in Turkey, wrote about of Ataturk is very interesting. "Hitler's Table Talks," this book is a collection of interviews given by the German statesman, while the Second World War was in full swing, during dinner at the headquarters. In the book, Adolf Hitler had mentioned a few quotes from Ataturk In the English translation of the 3rd edition at page 223: "An army without the support of his commander can not survive long. Atatürk has ensured the power with the People's Party. This is also valid for Italy. " On page 607 of the book: "Our goal is to get the world under Nazi domination, but I do not take it as an enemy of Turkey ... that is to say, Turkey is the only country in the world I shall not fight. " "He is My Master-Duce, but his master he is Mustafa Kemal. "I can do all my energy of Ataturk. His life is our light." "The first student of Mustafa Kemal was Mussolini, the second is me."

It is without a doubt that another example can't be shown indicating greater successes than the birth of the Turkish Republic and ever since then Atatürk's and Turkey's broad and deep reforms undertaken as well as the confidence of a nation in itself.
John Kennedy's father also loved Hitler and used to praise him before ww2 started

      Hello araratsi and lycan

I see its your first posting for both of you.
      Wellcome.

Could you please tell us something about yourselves.
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

Ironically, about the only people who will, nowadays, express public "admiration" for Ataturk are ignorant Western politicians who assume that by expressing it they will in some way ingratiate themselves with Turkey. However, in Turkey people are now starting to realise that Ataturk's period of rule was a disaster for Turkey's development. Ataturk was just another of many 1930s strong-men dictators, and he had the good fortune to die before such people went out of fashion.

‘Türk Schindleri’ efsaneleri by Ayşe Hür :

ALMAN ENFORMASYON OFİSİ . En popüler ‘milli’ efsanelerimizden biri, Türk diplomatlarının İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında binlerce Yahudi’yi ölümden kurtardığıdır. Yahudilerin acıları üzerinden dünyaya verilen bir ‘insanlık dersi’ olarak bu hikayeler pek çoğumuzun koltuklarını kabartır. Peki durum gerçekten söylendiği gibi midir?

                  Your Excellency.

As Honorary President of the World Union "OSE" I beg to apply to Your Excellency to allow fo[u]rty professors and doctors from Germany to continue their scientific and medical work in Turkey. The above mentioned cannot practise further in Germany on account of the laws governing there now. The majority of these men possess vast experience, knowledge and scientific merits and could prove very useful when settling in a new country.

Out of a great number of applicants our Union has chosen fo[u]rty experienced specialists and prominent scholars, and is herewith applying to Your Excellency to permit these men to settle and practise in your country. These scientists are willing to work for a year without any remuneration in any of your institutions according to the orders of your Government.

In supporting this application, I take the liberty to express my hope, that in granting this request your Government will not only perform an act of high humanity, but will also bring profit to your own country.

I have the honor to be,

                  Your Excellency's obedient servant,

                  (Prof. Albert Einstein)

                  His Excellency
The President of the Cabinet of Ministers
                  of the Turkish Republic

40 xxxish scientists came to turkey after that letter
lycan this is interesting letter that you have typed.

Surely if you have the source (since you typed it) why don't you give us link or a scanned version of the source similar to what Armeniaweb has done as evidence.

I want to be devil's advocate and ask this,

1933 Germany passed anti xxxish laws making it impossible for xxxs to work in universities.
Einstein had to leave Germany as did others who were in the same position.
Country of choice for these people was the US and some to the UK. The reasons are obvious.

One has to ask why would he decide to go to the US but make attempts to place others in Turkey.
Could it have been part of a Zionist scheme on route to being close to Palestine?

It would be interesting to see your evidence before further speculation.
