We can safely say that this has been a fairly good year for the Armenian cause, with 3 countries (Canada, Slovakia and the Netherlands) recognizing the Armenian Genocide... The only bad thing I could think of is the fact that Kerry didn't become president after so much Armenian support.
Another positive thing I could think of is when Turkey (or Turkish groups?) condemned the US of genocide in Fallujah ( ). This could easily be used as a weapon to get the AG acknowledged this year.

It does not make a difference directly to us when a country passes legislation of recognizing the genecide.. however millions of people within those countries have no idea of any such thing.. most do not even know Armenia exist... here in the United States is the same situation.. The legislation hoever not important, allows for media converage which in turn will do its part for getting the word out to some people. And yes it does not make a difference directly to our lives, but im sure i am not the only one that feels it is a relevant topic to be discusse din history classes throughout the United States, cause as far as i remember no such thing was ever in any of my history books... There is an American made documentary about the History of Armenia leading to the genecide, it is titled "Armenia, Nation between worlds"
How do you hurt a masochist?

Here too, the Genocide isn't mentionned in History (school) books... However, there would always be a whole paragraph dedicated to the Jewish Holocaust.
I do respect them for what they have been through, but are the Jews more important than us?

The strange thing is that a more recent French textbook gives some informations about the Genocide, and with one or two pictures...

It doesn't really make a difference to us, but it seems that it makes a difference to Turkey! They put a lot of effort to stop these legislations. They threatened to not buy products (train cars?) from ''Bombardier'', when Canada was going to pass the motion recognizing the AG but I don't think anything really happened... Note that the Motion acknowledges the Armenian Genocide without even mentioning the words ''Turk'' or ''Ottoman''...

                    Cool, dave.

And yes, Jews are more important than Armenians. They have done great things in the world like plague mankind with Christianity, Islam, Communism, Capitalism, Zionism and so much more lovely things. I am sooooo sad that others killed them, its not their fault that they try to take over the governments of every nation they live in.

I know that there are those bad Jews that support the Turks to deny the Genocide, that worship the dollar, etc. but there are also those that are just fine. That's how humanity is.

The Turks generalized too when they attempted to murder the Armenian race. They thought that all Armenians supported the Armenian revolution (but unfortunately it wasn't true). Instead of killing only Armenian leaders and revolutionnaries, they tried to kill all Armenians.

According to you, would the Armenian revolution justifie the Armenian Genocide? If not, then Capitalism, Zionism, etc wouldn't justifie the Holocaust.
