  • L.A. Time lack of coverage

I got this forwarded to me, so please if you want take action.

hey guys, quick favor...the fabulous LA Times has apparently decided that covering the Genocide events of this past weekend is of no importance to its readers...it had only covered the march from fresno to sacramento (which is great) but that probably only happened because it was written by an armenian writer from Fresno...there is zero coverage of community events including the protest, the march that took place on sunday, or the System concert...please write to letters@latimes.com and complain...come on, you guys all have to time to complain (we do it all the time anyway) about this...no excuses, even if you don't subscribe to the crappy paper...oh, and read asbarez.com...there are some interesting articles up (I know, I'm tooting my own horn here...but it's good, really!!) okay, have a nice day!!!

Actually my mom noticed it too, she was telling me about it yesterday. There was a lack of coverage in many local papers!

I noticed the lack of coverage in the Times, too.

They're not always gung-ho on Armenian issues, but they at least cover the Turkish Embassy march or the Little Armenia march every year.

Interesting, because the Times and Asbarez have a commercial/marketing deal together.

Anyway, yeah, Asbarez' Genocide issue *was* good!
