I found out my grand mom's, Zemrouhkt Vartanian, parents were living in Bitlis during 1951. And her father's name was Vartan Vartanian. She was a little girl when she escaped from Turks on Armenian Genocide. She witnessed her mom’s death and Turks took her father away. She managed to stay alive and went to Armenia. Does anyone know anything about this last name? or has or know a grand parent that is from Bitlis? Anyhelp be will appreciated since I have researched online and I am not getting any info or records of the survivors - this is just sad
