I am truly ready to accept what you claim if it is true. Are you ready for the opposite if I prove you that Armenians massacred thousands of Turks only at Van?

Find a turk who live at wan and If he is honest, he will explain how armenians killed Turks, and how Turks killed armenians. For a fight, there should be two side.

If you speak with people in eastern anatolia, especially old villagers, they honestly say you "there were Armenians here at old days, and ours massacred them" No problem.
But if you also ask them about what Armenians did he say something like this: "Armenian gangs attacked our village and killed Muslim people, we buried bodies to that hill"
And if you ask them a question like who was victim, they say: "those were terrible days, both Muslims and Armenians were living bad days, Armenian gangs killed us, then Russians came and we expelled to west. And then government escaped us, but this time they killed Armenians, some of our people attacked Armenians, some of us helped them. It was banned to hide Armenians, a lot of Armenian is died. And then Russians came again and this time Armenians take revenge..." this goes on.

But, OK, some Armenian massacres against Turks doesn't justify the deportation of entire Armenian population in a very bad way and allow to many deaths. I just try to show you the other side's story. OK, I quit since office is closed. I don't want to continue any discussion since I get bored from all these. Finally, I accept Armenians faced with a tragedy an Turks were responsible. But I oppose the term "genocide" since what happened at1915 was not like what happened to Jews at ww2. It is unjust to compare two of them. Have a nice holiday to everybody and bye..

untrue - the Armenian genocide and the Jewish genocide are very comparable events. You really need to expose yourself to more facts and try to understand better - what can i say...and i too grow tired of posting again and again such things - please look through the archived posts in the genocide section a bit OK?

Well, I am still waiting atthe office for a fax message, so I can send a last post about it. I don't want to start another discussion. I'm tired, too. Just a short comparison. Jews were totally assimilated at Germany and had no demand for an independence. They did not helped and joined Germany's enemies. They are killed just because of their race.
But although THIS DO NOT JUSTIFY 1915 Armenians did those. I am not a Jewsih fan, but the term genocide can only be used for Jews, it is uncomparable with anything else. Armenians were massacred like dozens of other massacres at history. Turks have to be shame and accept it. That is OK. But it was not genocide.
I will not argue this anymore. Finally fax came. Have a nice holiday, bye...
