  • Are we being unrealistic?

Is it unrealistic to expect the Turkish government to recognize the Armenian Genocide?

I think as more time passes.....the more unrealistic it becomes, and furthermore...the less of an effect the recognition will have......

yes pal you are right its pretty unrealistic to expect us to recognize such crimes we didnt do. If you think you are helping Armenia and the people living in Armenia you are wrong. The gap between Turkey and Armenia opens day by day and it will strike the Armenians more believe me.

Not only is it Realistic, it is also necessary for us to Never Forget and Never Quit! A moment of weakness may pass over some, do not fall victim to this. This struggle for justice is not a hobby for Armenians. We do what we must. What is the alternative? Do we allow a murderer to go free because politics has gotten in the way of justice? I say no way! Screw politics. We struggle until we have justice. End of story.

The opinion of a Turk in this does not matter.

I think it is entirely irrelevant what the Turkish government does. What is relevent is how this entire Genocide issue has been a stick up Turkey's butt and making them very very uncomfortable in recent times and it is only getting worse for them

So no, I don't think the effect is getting "less". But of course I really don't think much will come of "Genocide Recognition" other than a slap in the face of Turkishness.
        this post = teh win.
