    Re: Liberation of Western Armenia

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a Turk and in my opinion Western Armenia must be restored. Because it is the homeland of Armenians so it is their right to have it. As I believe in justice this must be done without a war. But Turkey will never accept this. So this is the duty of international courts to force Turkey to give these lands as a compensation. As I can see Eastern Anatolia is a dead place now, there's nothing, it is barren, people are migrating to west. If it had belonged to Armenians it would be a very developed place right now, maybe Armenia would be in the EU. Armenians will revive there and build their country again with their skills, talent and hardworking. I think that at least the Ararat region, Kars, Van, Mush must be given to Armenia. There are 8-9 million Armenians in the world, they can all settle there. Maybe a sea port can be given in Artvin too. But without international intervention these cant be done. The big countries always neglect the Armenians and they always beyrayed them. Because they dont want to lose their big friend Turkey. But this must chang now, a public support must be gained all over the world. These are my opinions Armenian friends...
Regardless how foolish claim is this lets take that it is a "fair" solution. How do you plan to restore this "western Armenia"? What do you plan to do with 14 million people who live on this "western Armenia" today? Do you have an answer to this?

The recognition of the AG by western governments other than embarrassing Turkey doesn’t bring much to us (IMO) and let’s not talk about your ‘recognition’ which at best could be useless and even dangerous to us. Got it Eshekoglu?

I dont think Turkey will accept to give "all" the lands back to Armenia as compenstation even if they are forced by the international law to accept the genocide. "Nationalists" will say a big NOO to that. A more "realistic" compensation I can imagine is Turkey opening some trading routes for Armenia allowing smooth trading across Turkey and Blacksea.

No there were 4 men to declare Abdulhamid is overthrown. Yes Emanuel Efendi was Jev and yes Aram Efendi was Armenian. Capish?

You can only impress these ignorant guys here with these popular conspiracy theories. This "founder of Turkey were Jevs" bla bla bla is very famous nowadays in Turkey among the uneducated people on the streets because of the "popular history" books like "Efendi" You are free to read it, believe these conspiracy theories and promote them at an Armenian forum to beg symphaty from them. But the "reality" is always much more complicated than conspiracy theories and only ignorant people who are not able to cover the complexity of the real world tend to believe conspiracies.
These are only theories but there are very interesting connections that you cannot deny and I only share them. (Also keep in mind that all the revolutionary parties like Tashnaks were cooparating with IT to overthrow Abdulhamid so of course there were Armenians on their side, everything changed later after the Adana massacre on 1909.)

I don't care if these theories are true or not. I know one thing for sure. IT IS A GENOCIDE, there is no doubt about it ok? Because I know the witnesses accounts closely. So please don't waste your time insulting the great pain of this nation.

Do you also write on cyprus problem? If yes then could you please share your opinions with all the cypriots at " www.cyprus-forum.com ". I would be more than grateful.
Turks are talking about the unity of IRAQ but they divide Cyprus. Shortly in my opinion, Turkish soldiers should immediately retreat from Cyprus.

I would love to write if I can find time, thanks .......

This is only an utopia but you cannot prevent me from dreaming right? Like once Dr Luther said;"I have a dream". So this my dream.

What is restoration Armenia? It is restoration in every way. Restoration of the armenian culture, the armenian history, the monuments, the churches, the monasteries, the khackhars, every trace of armenian existance. The return to Armenia; the Armenians return to their homelands; to their cities, to their villages, can't I at least imagine that? If the Turks could only embraced them and welcomed them how great it could be. How great it would be for those underdeveloped lands.(Also there are 65 million people in Turkey right now and there are 8 territories, if you divide 65 by 8, it is 8 million. Also don't forget that in istanbul there are 15 million and the population density is on the west and there is migration from eastern anatolia to the west)

Giving them back to armenians is a gesture, an act of Justice. It can only be done by a highly civilized and peaceful country. If only Turks could come to that level of consciousness.......
