  • Documents From The Press Showing Denial Attitudes And Forgeries Of Ottoman Officials

It is important to show the reproductions of these original documents.

For exemple there is a French Newspaper, rather known in the late XIX century, which was corrupted by the personal secretary of Sultan Abdul Hamid II. He was sent specially by his boss to Paris for this kind of work.

It is in the L'Univers illustré (Paris). In November 1895 issue of this Magazine, below a drawing it is printed "The Turkish Police Attacked By the Armenians In The Streets of Stanbul" :

We have to scan such forgery or denial texts or etchings from German, Austrian, Swiss, Italian, etc... newspapers which reported Official Ottoman Statements (April, May, June 1915, etc.)

After that incident when Armenian protestors were attacked by the police, the Turkish mob went on a rampage and killed 5,000 Armenians in Istanbul.
General Antranik (1865-1927): “I am not a nationalist. I recognize only one nation, the nation of the oppressed.”

I have worked much on this book with author Arthur Beylerian :

Les Grandes puissances, l'Empire ottoman et les Arméniens dans les archives françaises : 1914-1918, Paris 1983

In its introduction the author gives some issues of newspapers (with bibliographical references) reporting the official delarations of the Ottoman Government saying there is no deportation or massacres, etc.

There is a research to do in libraries for scans of these lies.
