Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Thought the newspaper company has been defunct for quite some time, my guess is that an original can be found in the Library of Congress, along with other original documents that attest to the Genocide.

If on Judgment Day, God descended from Heaven and testified to the truth of the genocide of Armenians, Assyrians on Pontus Greeks; the Turks would still ask for more proof or claim God is fabricating the evidence. They neither want to or are prepared to believe.

And on the flipside when mentioning Turkish/Ottoman documents that support the reality of the Genocide, the Turks will dismiss all of them as forgeries, implying the documents in the Ottoman archives supporting their "thesis" have not been selected, manipulated, edited, and doctored in any way; that they are clean.

I agree with what you say.
Since they learn from babies that these genocides are not true ,they will never believe anyone.

The very important thing is that Turkey did NOT always denied the genocide.
Before 1939 ,all turks of these areas knew what happened to the armenians and other christians. They didn't deny these facts. But there was a shadow over these things. Turks preferred not to talk about the fate of the christians of turkey. They pretended that the christians just gone. However they didn't deny the massacres.
The ottoman empire has even took to trial the major young turks responsible for the genocides. Mustafa Kemal avoided those that were involved in the armenian genocide and tried to pick the more ''clean'' young turks as his generals. Of course many of his generals like Nurrendin Pasha (the general that slyed hundrends of thousands of greeks in Pontos) were in fact genocidal generals. Mustafa Kemal tried to ''clean'' the turkish nation of the responsibility by not talking about what happened to the christians. ALL the politicians knew what happened and this can be proved with the quotes of Mustafa Kemal, Churchill, Roosvelt, Hitler. Turkey didn't even talk about the so called ''relocation of the armenians''. The problem with turkey started after the WW2. Then the armenians started claiming that their massacres were in fact a genocide as the holocaust was. This is what really turkey was afraid of. Turkey is afraid of the responsibility. Turkey before didn't believe that will have to pay or held responsible for the great crime of armenian extermination. Turkey then started the grand propaganda to persuade the world that these massacres never happened. Turkey failed that. Now they try to create stories of armenian revolts. Turkey now admits the massacres but claims that this was not planned. Turkey just tries to clean herself.

Why not turk citizen can believe that the genocide is true:

    I will make some questions:
If I said that Greek Revolution is a lie and i gave a paper that prove that, would anyone believe me?
If I said that Hitler was never born, and i gave a paper that prove that, would anyone believe me?
If i said that ancient greeks didn't exist and all the history books were tales of medieval writers ,would anyone believe me?
    ANSWER: NO!
why? answer: because we all learn the above from our families, country and historians, we do not have proofs but we believe what they say to us.

If i say to a turk that armenian genocide is true (as it is)
    ,would he believe me?
    NO
    why?
because he learns from baby age that armenian genocide is lie and armenians have a conspiracy against turkey...

YOU CANNOT BELIEVE SOMETHING WHEN YOU LEARN THE OPPOSITE FOR SO MANY YEARS!
turks cannot believe they did such a thing...

to a turk to say that armenian genocide is true is like saying that ancient greeks didn't exist, or hitler was not born or greek revolution never happened! They will never believe that.

A question that i usually do to a turk is 'What he needs, as proof to believe the armenian genocide'
      no turk answer this question

if he does answer, and i give this proof, he will have to admit the genocide after, and he knows that he won't!
They never say what they need for proof, they just say that proof is no enough...
