And who organized the Kurds into units to kill Armenians? Who gave them the signals and locations to indicate when/where Armenian marches would come so they could be robbed, raped, and butchered? Your BS is too late. Kurds have already admitted their guilt in the Armenian Genocide and explained how it took place. This was also revealed in the WAR CRIME TRIBUNALS which took place against Talaat, Enver and Jamal (the three musketeers) after they fled the country - an event in which they were found GUILTY of war crimes against Armenians.

Remember this is deported alone, which doesn't include male military conscripts who were killed on the spot, all those who were slaughtered prior to 1915 (especially (but not limited to) the Hamidian massacres of 1892-1894 and Adana 1909) and those who were subject to forced Turkification - all these are included aspects in the UN definition of Genocide. Is it so hard to believe that if Talaat pasha himself states that nearly 1 million Armenians were deported (regardless of their ultimate fate), and we use a little numerical logic considering eyewitnesses say nearly all of the adult male population had been killed at that point - that the total number wouldn't be well into the 1 Millions? Absolutely not! Talaat Pasha's secret numbers are an essential and valuable asset to the survivors of the Armenian Genocide.

Your 841. July tenth. Department approves your procedure in pleading with Turkish Minister of Interior and Minister of War to stop Armenian persecution and in attempting to enlist sympathies of German and Austrian Ambassadors in the cause. The Department can offer no additional suggestions relative to this most difficult situation other than that you continue to act as in the past. Have any native born American citizens or any naturalized American citizens entitled to protection under American statutes received injuries during this trouble?
