According to Armenian Mirror Spectator weekly, US vice-president xxxx Chaney sent a letter dated April 22 to Genocide survivor Mertiza Ohanesian where he recognized the Armenian Genocide.
Chaney wrote that he joins the congratulations on Mrs. Ohanesian's 100th anniversary and emphasized that she is the oldest Genocide survivor.
"We commemorate those dreadful events every spring and honor the memory of victims", the US vice-president wrote.
