Mike Fitzpatrick Joined Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues
Washington, November 7, PanArmenian.Net. Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA) this week joined the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues, the Armenian Assembly on America reported. "I am proud to have joined my colleagues on the House Armenian Caucus," Fitzpatrick told the Assembly. "I joined to add my voice to the growing chorus of Americans and Armenian-Americans who want to stamp out genocide across the globe and recognize the wrongs of the past." "I firmly believe that a strong, independent Armenia will bring greater security and prosperity to the Caucasus, as well as Europe and the United States," Fitzpatrick continued. "I look forward to working with my colleagues to build common understanding of Armenian issues and to educate the public on the plight of the Armenian people - both past and present."
