A large group of Armenians living in Beirut protested Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Lebanon, by burning Turkish flags, the protest concerned the Armenian 'Genocide'...

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who arrived on Wednesday in Lebanon to attend Arab Economic Forum, was protested by a group from the Armenian Community, which is the largest in the Arab world with an estimated 120.000 people. During the protest, which was staged in the Bourj Hammoud Region of eastern Beirut, the Armenian protesters burned the Turkish flag and chanted slogans calling for recognition of the Armenian 'Genocide'. Also according to correspondents they carried pictures of the Turkish PM with the slogan "Animals are not welcome" and pictures depicting him as Pinocchio. The Lebanese government recently adopted a resolution condemming the Armenian 'Genocide' and the protestors called on the Lebanese government to take this into account in its relations with Turkey. The Greek Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant churches in Lebanon also joined in the call for Lebanon to mention the Armenian Genocide to the Turkish PM.

So, to beat Greek civilians is fine but god forbid you should step on their flag too.

Flag is a nation's pride, symbol. Curse state or the goverment that is understandable. But when you harm the flag, you insult a nation. That should not happen simply. In Turkey Islamists burn American flag, in Beirut Armenians burn Turkish flag. Same weakness, same nonsense....

It just expresses hate of the principals that are comprised of that entity or state based on historical realitys.
But you Turks wouldnt understand because you were raised in a soldier state/dictatorship/fear of military.

Soldier state? What do you think we are? Hitler's Germany or something? We are a republic, we are a NATO and United States member. We accept all decisions made by European Court of Human Rights. Now how are we a soldier state?

First of all Republic f Turkey was a dictatorship until multiparty system was adopted after that Nato/mafia/donme controlled military infastructure controlled and manipulated the country with coups and terrorism that kept a consent threat and kept democrasy as hostage by accusing anyone that dissented of being Armenian,Kurd, non-Turk and separatists.
