Thats total stupid, and it's getting more stupid each year.

I remember people are waiting for the contest for weeks and when TUrkey becomes first from the last they say "it is Europeans against us thats why we lost" etc.

It is really sad that still this contest is being honored!

The Eurovision is a total joke anyway. My buddy in the UK and his friends watch it and laugh their arses off and get waste. It's like a car wreck, you can't look away.

I guess you guys just dont care that much about Muzik,me I love fresh songs and performance these type of (Am-Pro) competitions bring about and its very exiting to watch and discern. You should visit the Eurovision site and check out the clips.Call me sentimantel I liked the Irish song the best of course they also have to perform it well.

I do love music, other than Turkish music especially I love Balkan sounds. But I dont like the commercialization of music. I also dont like pop music in general b'cause it serves mostly for the industry not the people. I would like the get the cultural taste that lasts long not a moment taste which in general pop music gives.

For example I would recommend you Okay Temiz's "For Yunus", he is a genius. His music is blend of New Age, Jazz and Turkish mystic music.

Okay thats a clean sound instrumental type i used to enjoy while driving a fast car at this stage of my life Lyrics have become more signifacant to me.There are not to many shows anymore that combine song,dance and beauty and when thats done with an ethnic flavor its the best.Thats why I loooooved Elena paparouz's performance last year and I will be looking out for the same type of "Magic' this year.

I noticed that Zeki Muren is enjoyed by many Turkey born Armenians.

Sezen Aksu is loved by Armenians that heard of.

I met Zekiye abla on a movie set when I was little i was a gofer on the set.
I grew up on Radio so his program which he started with Merhabaaaaalar I never missed I like the old Turkish songs because my folks grew up in that enviroment and they liked it.Contemporary signger has to be Mahsun song 'Bizden degildir' A inspired song that hopes that evil thats commited is not by among us.Diaspora Turk favorite of mine is Omar Faruk Tekbilek .But my favorite muzik is of course Armenian Tradtional/Folk Muzik.
