I know that most of you don't like rabiz music, that's the nice version. I get that. Some Rabiz songs I like, but thereare also songs that I really hate. But we should be glad that it's Rabiz and not what we have here

Isn't that "rave" or "trans." Ok... It's not the highest expression of art, but why do you hate it so much? To tell you the truth, if I was in a club, and I had a few drinks, I could get into it for a while.

In my opinion, this is much worst: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwHUC_0p4wg

I don't think the problem is listening to any foreign music. I personally love Cuban music and other Latin genres, and even some Arabic. The problem is that the Armenian musical tradition is being corrupted by all sorts of unArmenian themes and musical influences.

As audiences we need to keep our Armenian performers and artists to a higher standard and throw back in their faces some xxxx that they've imported from somewhere and try to sell as Armenian music for the sake of easy money. The rabiz (Turkish and Arabic turned Armenian) music is at the forefront of A) dumbing down the Armenian youths and B) spreading and marketing bad musical tastes, and from there other tastes in general.

It's really interesting to compare different opinions concerning Rabiz- I, for my part, do not think that people, who listen to Rabiz, have bad music taste. If you'd ask me, I wouldn't even say Turks have a culture, therefore rabiz is not a poor imitation of "Turkish" music in my opinion of course

IT's okay to listen to it I think, we've been stolen from throughout the centuries....
