For a good reason, Im very interested to know the background of this famous & incredible song. Dle Yaman. Does anyone know the composer? or perhaps what is the lyrics about? just a love song or its related to the Armenian Genocide? please tell me anything you know about it.

i would like to know too apparently dle is turkish and yaman is persian?? this topic has came up a few times would like to get the correct understanding

I think & I hope it has an Armenian origin. I dont believe its Turkish, the track is played by major Armenian musicians around the world in different versions and I dont think they would play it if it was Turkish.

All I know is that the lyrics are about Love, Vana Dzov.

Now im at least pretty sure that it is about love since I might have to explain about my project & talk about the lyrics too.

Strange that she is singing Lele Yaman and not Dele Yaman.

The only thing left is to find out the composer but I believe its a very old song and probably, as I imagine a girl singing for his lover just like Anoush Opera story .
