Cold Play and Radiohead are NOTHING alike as far as talent and quality of music is concerned. That would be like saying Chevelle has a fraction of the talent Tool does. Radiohead are true pioneers, and very unorthodox. Coldplay is just simpleton, easy listening "alternative" music. Of course they're popular. That's what the American mass public wants. But where as you only seem to be concerned with them becoming popular, I'm much more concerned with the quality of what is being put out. The goal of a musician should be to transcend time/become timeless with their music. It's a bit hard to do that when you're copying a popular current/trendy sound or band. That only lasts as long as that short era.

I don't like Aviatic. Barrett and Clint were better off in Likwid Kiwi. Beat and Path was also better than Aviatic. Why they dropped those two bands to make this poppy insignificant nonsense is beyond me.

Don't know about Beat and Path, but I remember seeing a Likwid Kiwi CD at a few Armenian book and music stores.
