I think pretty much all Blu-ray players are dvd compatible so it's not really a "switch". It's like an add-on.

The switch I was referring to was buying Blu-ray instead of DVD.

An HD-projector sounds great though! Should be pretty exciting setting up a home theater!!!

I have the entire concept in mind, which isn't excatly a concept, but I know what I want.

Here is a chart comparing Blu-ray quality with the RED camera resolution.



Blu-ray currently offers us 1080p whereas the RED One camera shoots in 4k. Look at the difference. We definitely have a long way to go!
